Hosting an array of world class sporting facilities including: Gym, Full sized indoor 3g artificial football pitch, Sportshall, Squash courts, 400m Athletics track, Indoor athletics track, Olympic 50m swimming pool, Diving pool, Grass football pitch, Water based Hockey pitch, Health suite, Ice baths, Group exercise studios, Cycle studios, Cafe, Meeting rooms.

Much of the buildings external façade comprised of Rodeca’s PC 2540-4 40mm thick panel. The subtle gradient effect on the elevations to the main indoor athletics hall were achieved by using varying concentrations of blue in combination with opal. This provided high levels of diffused light to the interior enabling many activities to be undertaken without the use of interior lighting.
The same gradient was applied to the rainscreen areas of the façade to provide continuity.

Opal panels were used to provide the canopy roof to the outdoor athletics stand, upper areas to the first floor gymnasium spaces, the gables to the full size indoor football pitch and the main entrance/café areas. All spaces benefiting from neutral diffused daylight with good thermal performance.
