The Structural Dynamics Laboratory for Verification and Validation (LVV) is a major new acoustics and vibration testing facility funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the University of Sheffield. Crystal panels up to lengths in excess of 14m provided rainscreen and glazing elements to much of the external facades.

Boeing Sheffield
Is the first manufacturing site in Europe where over 100 high-tech actuation system components are manufactured for the 737 and 767, from raw materials sourced in the UK. Rodeca crystal panels were used to provide high levels of diffused light with good thermal performance to the north lights on the saw tooth roof.
